Herndon, Virginia — November 29, 2018 — WorldStrides Excel, the nation’s largest and most trusted sports travel provider, announced it is partnering with WAGS to deliver all female international coaching education tours.
The upcoming year will offer new international educational coaching opportunities for WAGS Tournament coaches through an application process soon to be announced and with an initial trip planned to send 16 female coaches to the Women’s World Cup in France. Coaches can expect to visit academy programs in France, attend two Women’s World Cup games, as well as attending sessions and learning from some of the best coaching educators in the world.
WAGS is a charitable 501 (C)(3) organization, with a mission of empowering women and girls from all over the world – through soccer. They support six unique programs just for women and girls in soccer that promote confidence, strength, character and leadership in a variety of ways. The overall mission is to provide opportunities to sponsor, develop, or provide educational and character building programs for the benefit of women and girls through teaching and promoting an interest in the game of soccer.
