The Dana Cup is Denmark’s largest sporting event, and one of the biggest international youth soccer tournaments in the world. Since 1982, over half a million players have participated in the Dana Cup from over 115 nations. From July 22-27, 2024, your players can join teams from all over the world for 6 days of amazing competition, camaraderie and fun held in North Jutland, Hjørring, one of Denmark’s oldest towns.
Age Classes
The following player age groups are invited to participate in the Dana Cup in Hjørring, Denmark.
Boys and Girls 11v11:
Dana Cup B18-19/G18-19 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/05
Dana Cup B17/G17 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/07
Dana Cup B16/G16 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/08
Dana Cup B15/G15 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/09
Dana Cup B14/G14 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/10
Dana Cup B13/G13 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/11
Boys and Girls 7v7:
B16/G16 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/08
B14/G14 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/10
B12/G12 – boys and girls born on or after 1/1/12
B11 – boys born on or after 1/1/13
Experience Denmark
Hjørring is a very small town situated in the heart of the Danish holiday region in Northern Jutland. It is just a few miles from the lovely beaches, and is also conveniently situated near the port of Frederikshavn. Nearby, participants can enjoy Fårup Summerland fun park and the North Sea Oceanarium. The Dana Cup tournament also has various social activities for participants to build global friendships, including an opening ceremony, leader meeting, Adidas sport tent, event area, aquatic center, and disco.
Dana Cup - Sample Itinerary
For days that your team is in Denmark, breakfast and dinner will be provided at the team hotel in Hjørring, Denmark.
DAY 1
Flight from United States to Copenhagen, Denmark.
DAY 2
Our 24-hour Tour Director will meet us at the airport, followed by bus ride via private coach to your team hotel. Welcome meeting and orientation, followed by dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3
Attend the Dana Cup Opening Ceremonies.
DAY 4
On Day 4 we will participate in the first round matches of the Dana Cup, followed by free time to roam the tournament complex, and other free time activities in the area.
DAY 5
Second round Dana Cup matches.
DAY 6
On Day 6, your team will play their third round matches, followed by dinner at the hotel.
DAY 7
On Day 7, your team will play fourth round matches, followed by a fireworks show.
DAY 8
Dana Cup Finals and closing ceremonies.
DAY 9
Travel to Copenhagen, return to United States.
