Glenwood, Maryland — September 13, 2018 — WorldStrides Excel, the nation’s largest and most trusted sports travel provider, has announced that it is launching a new program to give individual soccer players the opportunity to compete internationally. The new program, called FC USA International, is many months in the making, and will allow players to join a team of top athletes to compete in locations like Sweden, France and Spain. These unique global experiences will improve the athletes’ fundamentals, develop camaraderie with other promising soccer enthusiasts, and give players a new perspective on the world of sport and the world in general.
WorldStrides Excel has added industry experts Jonathan Bradley and Scott McBride as Individual Travel Executives to ensure flawless execution of the new program. Originally from London, Jonathan Bradley has been coaching for almost two decades. He is currently the Coaching Director for the Darien Soccer Association and Director of CFC Chelsea. He is also one of the Directors of the upcoming WorldStrides Excel Gothia Cup trip. He has been running tours for over 10 years to different countries all over the world. Scott McBride is a veteran in the industry, and even took his University of Bridgeport team to nine NCAA tournaments, including a Final Four and an Elite Eight appearance. He is currently an assistant coach at Sacred Heart University. McBride will have a hand on all aspects of the individual program including recruiting, on-field coaching and scheduling.

In conjunction with the new program launch, WorldStrides Excel has added new options for players including the chance to earn academic credit, participate in community service projects, and utilize WorldStrides’ industry-leading fundraising and payment plans.
